This course is for those who wish to become IQA’s.
The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice is for practitioners who conduct internal quality assurance of the assessment process from within a centre/organisation, by sample planning, monitoring and advising on the practice of assessors.
Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Process & Practice
The initial online induction will develop your knowledge and train you how to be a good internal quality assurer (IQA). You then practice your skills in your workplace. When sufficient evidence of competency has been gathered we will schedule an observation of your activities with your Assessors – this is conducted in live time via Teams or Zoom.
Entry requirements: You need to be vocationally competent in the role you want to internally quality assure. You will need access to 2 Assessors.

How long is the course and where is it held?
Undertake your induction via our online education platform – access anytime.
You will then work with your qualified Assessors to complete your portfolio of evidence to satisfy the needs of the qualification.
What does the course cover?
The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Process & Practice (unit 4 & unit 5)
If you only require The Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Assurance of Assessment Process & Practice (unit 4 only) – the cost reduces to £295 plus vat. This suits those who need to understand the role of the IQA but not conduct the activities.
Assessment & Certification
Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Process & Practice
You will complete a series of assignments and work with your qualified Assessors to complete your portfolio of evidence to satisfy the needs of the qualification. These are assessed by our team.
You will be observed and assessed by our IQA team in live time undertaking internal quality assurance activities and confirming your knowledge and understanding of internal quality assurance practice. This observation will be conducted virtually via Teams or Zoom.
Certification is awarded by Highfield Qualifications.
