Adult & Paediatric First Aid Instructor – Classroom
£495.00 + VAT
This five day courses focuses on the delivery of learning to cover the knowledge and competence in First Aid.
The competency required to become a professional First Aid Trainer / Assessor is clearly defined by the HSE: Please find details below:
Trainers/assessors should have knowledge and competence in first aid, as demonstrated by: Holding a current, valid First Aid at Work certificate (or being exempt – namely registered Dr. Nurse or Paramedic) and having knowledge and competence in training and/or assessing, demonstrated by holding a training/assessing qualification.
This five day courses focuses on the first element – the delivery of learning to cover the knowledge and competence in First Aid, we understand that holding a First Aid at work certificate is deemed as suitable, however in our extended experience this does not give trainee instructors the confidence or knowledge to go on and deliver this same course.
So…we invite you to spend five days with us where we deliver more in depth first aid knowledge in adult & paediatric first aid PLUS the knowledge required to train others in the use of an AED. Instructors leaving this program will be awarded the necessary First Aid at Work certificate and as importantly will leave us confident to answer the inevitable awkward questions raised by their future course delegates.
Individual price: £495.00 + VAT
