This course is aimed at those who carry out manual handling activities at work and introduces delegates to the hazards of manual handling, the risks involved and controls available and what to expect from a manual handling assessment. Successful completion will prepare delegates to look carefully at their own work activities and contribute to the development of safer methods and tasks, in co-operation with their managers and supervisors.

Group price: £375.00 + VAT

Up to 14 delegates

A half day (3 hour) course held at your chosen venue on your chosen date.

The process of manual handling in the workplace
Manual handling injuries and the activities which cause them
Manual handling assessment and control options
Responsibilities imposed by the Manual Handling Operations Regulations

There is a continual assessment approach on this course, there is no written examination.
An Aid Training certificate is issued for each delegate and is valid for 3 years. Each delegate also receives an electronic manual.

The cost of this course run at your site for a group of up to 14 is £375.00 plus vat.
Two half day sessions can be run for up to 28 delegates  for £575.00 plus vat (this could be a combination of any of our half day Health & Safety related titles).
