This course is suitable for parents, volunteers and anyone that either supports a first aider in their duties or simply wants to learn some first aid for their home and family life.

We are able to offer a half-day first aid course for all those keen to learn first aid skills but have no formal requirement to take the three-day First Aid at Work or the one-day Emergency First Aid at Work courses. This course is suitable for parents, volunteers and anyone that either supports a first aider in their duties or simply wants to learn some first aid for their home and family life.

Group price: £375.00 + VAT

Up to 12 delegates

This is a half day classroom course, held at your chosen location on your chosen date.

Managing first aid incidents
Examination of a casualty
Care of an unconscious casualty including the recovery position
Basic life support – adult, child and baby depending on the group
Choking – adult, child and baby depending on the group
Control of Bleeding
Shock

Continual assessment and an Aid Training Certificate.

The cost of this course for up to 12 candidates is £375.00 plus vat. If you have more people to train we can offer 2 back-to-back sessions in a day and train up to 24 delegates for £575.00 plus vat.
