New Basic Life Support Protocols
On 18th October 2010 The Resuscitation Council (UK) issued the long awaited changes to the Basic Life Support protocols. Aid Training are proud to announce that we have implemented the changes on all of our First Aid training courses already – this has meant briefing all the tutors, changing lecture packs and support materials. Not an easy task – but we pride ourselves on being up-to-date in everything that we do. Full details of the changes can be found in our Free Resources section.

My decision to use your company was an easy one, after the initial phone contact with Julia Hunt who made the booking process painless and supplied all information I required. The course it self was excellent and Ross Hooper your trainer was brilliant he put every one at easy and continued to teach in a professional manner over the 3 days and we all passed.
All six participants ( including myself ) are senior managers here at Cookson and agree with my comments regarding the course.

I've just completed and passed a three day course of first aid training with your company. My instructor Graham was the most skilled professional person I've ever been taught first aid by also to mention he has a gift with groups of people who are nervous, unconfident and unsure what to do in a life threatening situation. I felt I had to contact you to pass on the groups admiration for this guy who is an obvious asset to the company and in just three days had everyone of us confident and knowledgeable enough to do enough to a casualty and possibly save there life. Thanks graham and aid training for an awesome experience in emergency medicine.

Our First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work training is fully approved by the Health & Safety Executive - approval number 99/99. We are members of the Association of Independent First Aid at Work Training Organisations (AIFAWTO) and The Federation of First Aid Training Organisations (FOFATO).
We are also approved by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) for funding purposes.
